>>> What I've learned as an executive coach
|
- The coaching process is never about my life. It is about coachee and his/her team life.
- I never share the human dramas with my clients. We focus on courageous and fascinating things in order to grow as leaders.
- I’ve learned the art of emphathy. I always try to feel what my clients might be feeling and to think what they might be thinking. I am with them. It enables me to understand my clients more fully and for them to become more open to me.
- I’ve learned to respect and appreciate the people whose mind-sets were radically different from my own.
- In the coaching process I need to tie theory and experience from business and psychology field covering my client’s personal and professional life.
- I think like a theorist, act like a researcher but I never give any advice to my clients.
